Index

The Index button displays a clickable list of index topics. To quickly scroll to an index topic, type its name in the text box at the top of the index. As you type the name, the index will scroll to terms in main entries that match. If there are no matching terms in main entries, a main entry that is the next closest match is highlighted. If you type b, then the index will jump to the first term starting with b. If you then type e, the topic will jump to the first item starting with be.

Double-click an index item to jump to that topic.

Some index terms are headings for subtopics. These headings usually do not have topics associated with them. Double-click on the subtopic instead.
