Replacing a Custom Catalog Term

To replace an existing term that is currently used in content, either change the description for the term or inactivate the term and add a new one.

• To change the description for an existing term, see Editing a Custom Catalog Term. This method changes the term in all content that references that term.
• To inactivate the term, see Editing a Custom Catalog Term and change the Status field to Inactive. To add the new term, see Adding Terms to a Custom Catalog. The inactive term remains in the content that references that term. If you want to replace the inactive term with a new term, manually edit the content to replace the term.

  Administrators can view and navigate all screens in the Environment Manager. The screens that non-administrator users are able to view and navigate depend on assigned permissions.
