Generating a Mapping Report

For any content you wish to export, you can generate an Orderable Items report that shows whether Zynx terms are mapped to equivalent concepts in the external vocabulary used in a particular export format. This report lists the order items, PIVOT IDs, and associated external IDs for the content that you wish to export. Use this report to quickly see which Zynx terms still need to be mapped to equivalent concepts in the external vocabulary before you export the content.

To generate the report, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Integration tab in the Environment Manager, select an export name and click the Mapping Report button. Content owned and created by the local environment appears in a tree-view structure.
  2. Select the content you will be exporting.
  3. Click the Generate button. A dialog box appears asking if you want to open or save the file.
  4. To open the report, click the Open button. Otherwise click the Save button to save it and open it later.
    The report opens as an Excel spreadsheet, displaying the Zynx terms and assigned PIVOT IDs that appear in the selected content. A value in the External ID column indicates that the Zynx term is mapped to an equivalent concept in the external vocabulary.

    NOTE

    Administrators can view and navigate all screens in the Environment Manager.

    The screens that non-administrator users are able to view and navigate depend on assigned permissions.
