Practice Monitor
Practice Monitor is a sortable, filterable, and formatted Excel spreadsheet, available as a direct link from the AuthorSpace splash page. This document is a tool designed to help focus on what evidence changes need to be incorporated into custom order sets and plans of care. ZynxOrder, ZynxCare, and ZynxAmbulatory each have their own specific Practice Monitor spreadsheet.
Within the Practice Monitor spreadsheet are four tabs to better organize evidence changes and to aid in navigation:
- Overview tab: Summary of high-level changes
- Practice Monitor tab: Detailed description of line-by-line item changes
- Withdrawn Evidence Links tab: List of evidence pages that have been retired
- Links - Multiple Guidelines tab: Direct links to guidelines listed in the Practice Monitor tab
To make best use of the Practice Monitor tool:
- Review the Overview tab for an at-a-glance perspective of all changes.
- Next, navigate to the Practice Monitor tab for detailed descriptions of line-by-line item changes and filter for your topic of interest.
- To narrow the focus to interventions that are associated with key clinical processes and/or performance measures, filter the "Change Type" column for options associated with "Blue ribbon" (performance measures) or "Gold key" (key clinical processes).
- Alternatively, filter the "Change Due To" columns for interventions associated with changes due to guidelines, performance measures, key clinical process evidence, FDA safety alerts, and/or other medical/interdisciplinary evidence.
- Review the Withdrawn Evidence Links tab for interventions associated with inactive evidence links.
