Linking One Vocabulary Term at a Time

To link just one vocabulary term at a time, click the Map link next to a term in the Vocabulary Items list on the Vocabulary Details screen. The Link Catalog Terms screen opens with the selected term identified in the top portion of the screen. If the vocabulary term is linked, the term to which it is linked appears in the Linked Catalog Term(s) box. Complete the following steps:

1. In the Catalog Term(s) to Link area at the bottom of the screen, populate any of the following fields by selecting the appropriate values from these drop-down lists: Catalog, Content, Category, Type, Term Type, or Status. You can search for Zynx, Custom, or Zynx + Custom terms.
2. Type the term in the Term Name field. Use of wildcard characters is not supported. To perform a search, you must either select a Term Type or type at least 2 characters.
3. Click the Search button.

   The system returns catalog terms using the criteria that you specify.

   The results list shows the term, PIVOT ID, primary term type, catalog, linked term, Term ID, and status. By default, 50 terms appear per page. Use the vertical scroll bar to view all terms if they are not visible on the list. Use the page links below the results list to display additional results.

4. Click the catalog term to which you wish to link and then click Link.

   To unlink an item, select both terms and click Unlink.
