Configuration Issues

Once an environment is configured for one type of permission (either content-level or folder-level), just that one type is used throughout the environment.

If your environment is configured for content-level security, permission can only be assigned to content. Permission cannot also be assigned to folders. When new content is created, permission is still only assigned at the content level.

In the same way, if your environment is configured for folder-level security, permission can only be assigned at the folder level. Permission cannot also be assigned to content inside the folder. When new folders are created, permission is still only assigned at the folder level.
