Viewing/Editing a Task in the My Dashboard Work
Queue
An AuthorSpace administrator
can view and edit all tasks in the environment. A requester, assignee,
or delegate can view or edit a task.
Tasks can be viewed and edited
from the My Dashboard Work Queue or from the Work Queue area in the Content
Manager.
To view/edit a task, complete
the following steps:
- Open the Edit Task screen in one of two ways:
- Click My
Dashboard from the Main Menu
on the AuthorSpace main screen. The Dashboard Home
screen displays the Calendar pane and Work Queue pane. In the Work Queue
pane on the right, double-click the task you wish to edit. The Edit Task screen opens.
- Open the content in the Content
Manager by selecting the content from the content list and selecting
Manage. Select the task you wish to
edit in the Work Queue area and click the Edit
button.
- In the Edit Task screen, select the Content
Object link. If the content is editable, the content opens
in the AuthorSpace Editor. If the content is not editable, the content
opens as read-only in the Viewer.
- Update the task
data in the Edit Task screen and click
Save. The appropriate e-mail notification
will be sent as specified. See Creating
a Task in the Work Queue for additional information.
