Viewing/Editing a Task in the My Dashboard Work Queue

An AuthorSpace administrator can view and edit all tasks in the environment. A requester, assignee, or delegate can view or edit a task.

Tasks can be viewed and edited from the My Dashboard Work Queue or from the Work Queue area in the Content Manager.

To view/edit a task, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the Edit Task screen in one of two ways:
  2. In the Edit Task screen, select the Content Object link. If the content is editable, the content opens in the AuthorSpace Editor. If the content is not editable, the content opens as read-only in the Viewer.
  3. Update the task data in the Edit Task screen and click Save. The appropriate e-mail notification will be sent as specified. See Creating a Task in the Work Queue for additional information.
