Adding Local Vocabularies
To add local vocabularies, complete
the following steps:
- From the Vocabulary Manager Home screen, click the
Add Local Vocab link to open the Add Local Vocabulary screen.
- Type the vocabulary
name in the Vocabulary Name text box.
- If the vocabulary
has its own s, select the Has
IDs check box. If vocabulary does not have external IDs, clear
the Has IDs check box. The Has IDs check box is enabled by default.
- In the Description text box, type a description of
the vocabulary name.
- In the Environment Specific Notes box, add notes
that are specific to using the vocabulary within your environment.
- In
the General Notes box, add any applicable
notes.
- Click the Save button to add your vocabulary to the
Vocabulary Manager Home screen. The
new vocabulary will also be available for export when you configure exports
with the Environment Manager’s Integration
Tab.
After you add a vocabulary,
you can add or import vocabulary terms for the external vocabulary. See
Adding
Vocabulary Terms or Importing
Terms.
